Infrastructure
at a Glance

Our Niagara Falls facility provides the physical and technical infrastructure to support mission-critical carbon materials production at scale — with room to grow. Our main plant is in Niagara Falls, NY where we operate 100,000 square feet of manufacturing and furnace heat treatment. We have 10,000 square feet for R&D, application support, and quick-turn vacuum furnace processing in Saginaw, MI. We operate 30,000 square feet of carbon and graphite machining at our center of excellence in Ashland, OH.

In-House Processing
From Start to Finish

With more than 20 years of experience, we deliver customized carbon solutions supported by in-house capabilities spanning carbon fiber and powder sourcing, scouring, resin prepreg, molding, furnace heat treatment, purification, and precision machining. All core manufacturing steps performed on-site — enabling traceability, quality control, and rapid iteration without third-party dependencies.

Fiber & Pre-Preg Preparation

In-house scouring, resin application, and pre-preg production from carbon or ceramic fabric. Controls material quality from the first manufacturing step.

Layup, Cure & Molding

Autoclave and compression molding for composite layup and cure. Supports complex near-net shaped components for diverse application geometries.

Carbonization — 900°C

North America's largest carbon baking furnace. Batch carbonization of CFC preforms at 900°C with controlled atmosphere and full thermal profiling.

Graphitization — 3,000°C+

17 induction furnaces up to 3,000°C with multiple chamber sizes. Supports graphitization, purification, and high-temperature processing for all material families.

Densification & Purification

In-house densification to achieve target density specifications. Purification processes to achieve high-purity grades required for energy and industrial applications.

CNC Machining

Precision CNC machining of all carbon, graphite, and CMC materials to customer drawings. Tight tolerance capability supporting qualified production parts.

Processing Capacity

Our infrastructure includes North America’s largest carbon baking furnace, up to 900°C and a fleet of induction furnaces with graphitization capability reaching 3000°C. Our furnace capacity enables us to support the most demanding aerospace, defense, energy, and industrial applications.

Furnace Class Chamber ID Chamber Height Temperature Capability Application
Small 20" ID 60"H Up to 3,000°C Small components, test articles, R&D
Medium 52" ID 130"H Up to 3,000°C Mid-size composite preforms, graphite
Large 96" ID 130"H Up to 3,000°C Large structural components, bulk graphitization
Carbon Baking N. America's Largest 900°C CFC carbonization, bulk carbon baking
