Daniel Broodo leads Americarb’s technology strategy and innovation programs as Chief Technology Officer, guiding the development of advanced carbon, ceramic, and graphite materials for aerospace, defense, energy, and semiconductor applications. His work bridges deep technical understanding with practical scale-up, helping Americarb bring materials science from the lab to full industrial production.

Daniel joined Americarb in 2022 as Project Manager of Engineering, where he managed major capital programs, plant design, and process optimization initiatives. Within two years, his contributions to process development and product commercialization advanced him to Director of Technology, before taking on the role of CTO in 2025. Across these roles, he has led multi-disciplinary teams focused on design, R&D, commissioning, and quality improvement—driving Americarb’s transition into a vertically integrated materials manufacturer.

Before joining Americarb, Daniel spent six years at Energy Transfer, beginning as an Associate Engineer and later serving as a Process Engineer. During that time, he managed large-scale infrastructure and fractionation projects, including the multi-billion-dollar Revolution System in the Marcellus region and the Frac 8 expansion at Mont Belvieu, Texas. His experience in EPC management, process design, and environmental permitting laid a strong foundation for his later work in advanced manufacturing.

Over his 10+ year career, Daniel has built a deep expertise in project development, plant optimization, and commercialization of new technologies—overseeing programs exceeding $400 million. At Americarb, he continues to shape the company’s IP strategy, technology roadmap, and next-generation product portfolio, including thermal protection systems, ceramic composites, and high-performance materials for energy storage.
