Greg Powers serves as Chief Operating Officer at Americarb, leading global operations to deliver high-performance carbon and graphite materials for aerospace, defense, energy, and semiconductor markets. With more than 30 years of experience in advanced manufacturing and technology, Greg brings a deep understanding of how to scale production, strengthen supply chains, and foster innovation across complex industrial systems.
Before joining Americarb, Greg held leadership roles spanning business development, operations, and technology entrepreneurship. As a Business Development Executive at Axiom Materials, he helped expand the company’s advanced carbon fiber and ceramic composites portfolio for high-temperature and aerospace applications. Earlier, he co-founded and led HUB365 Inc. and Edge Ware Computing, harnessing high-performance computing solutions to accelerate product engineering and data-intensive manufacturing.
Greg’s career began as a U.S. Naval Officer, where he served aboard submarines and surface ships after graduating from the Naval Nuclear Power School. He earned his B.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University and completed postgraduate studies in Accounting and Finance at UC Irvine.
